We are back and we are still recovering from our lack of sleep and lots of fun in North Carolina. We had a great time but like always, we wish it
could've been a longer trip and we wish we
could've seen everyone. We spent the weekend in Norfolk for our good friends wedding - Scott and Felicia tied the knot. Scott went to ECU and was in Air Force ROTC with Jeremy and Felicia and Jeremy were instant
BFF's at
Vandenberg when they met at training right after graduating and being commissioned into the Air Force. We were a tight group in Fort Collins and luckily just about everyone came into town for the wedding so we got to catch up again.

~Felicia is half Scottish so they had a bagpiper at the wedding and the reception~

~Jamie and Collin....sorry guys, this is the only picture I got of you guys and none of that ADORABLE baby Weston~

~ at the Wright Fountain in
Greenville~

We stopped by
Greenville on our way home from Norfolk just to go to
UBE and buy some new pirate gear but it was Sunday and Labor Day weekend so NOTHING was open. It was still great to go back with Jackson since he's only heard of the Pirate Nation!
~We met up with our old friend Corina for our infamous sushi dinner but unfortunately our fave spot Sono was closed....they must've not known I was coming into town....so we went to another great sushi bar and enjoyed catching up!~

We had such a good....but rushed time that we forgot to get out the camera for most of the trip. So that is why we don't have pictures of Jackson with all the grandparents but we had a blast and Jackson did great for all of the traveling we did....which made up most of the trip. We are glad to be back home and recovering and we are even more thankful that we survived our first earthquake the night we got back. Luckily we were all so exhausted that we didn't even know it happened until our friends told us! I kind of feel like an official Californian now! ha ha!
