Last Thursday me and the boys headed south to Orange County to meet up with Jeremy, who was there on a TDY. Turns out he was staying just a couple of blocks from Disney Land! WoooHooo.....but we didn't go.....BOO! We were going to but the weather for our stay was looking really windy, rainy and cold and that is not how I wanted to spend my the boys' first trip to Disney. We were lucky enough to make it to Downtown Disney, which is free, and eat dinner at House of Blues and walk through some Disney stores.
So instead we headed even more south, to Legoland!
We arrived at the park and it was cloudy and chilly. Doesn't Jennings look just adorable in his Mickey Mouse hat!
The sky cleared up and it stayed a comfortable 65'ish' degrees. Jackson and daddy pulling themselves up the tower.
Jackson and mommy flying a helicopter.
I volunteered Jeremy to take Jackson on this water ride. They shot water guns at other boats and got a little wet! (this is in the pirate section....if you couldn't tell;)
Jackson is big into Transformers right now so he thought this guy was cool.....but we don't know who he is?!
Legoland was a blast and everyone had a great time. We definitely spent a whole day there and our tickets are good for another free day within a few months so it looks like we'll be heading back that way soon. Maybe catch a Braves game in San Diego and make a weekend out of it.....sounds good to me!
