Jennings is 4 months old!

We went for his four month check up Wednesday.
He weighed in at 18.5 pounds!
He was 25.5 inches long!
I'm thinking that Santa's little helper is helping him get a head start on all those cookies he'll be eating shortly!
He is apparently just in the 85th percentile for weight but I can't imagine too many more 4 month olds that are bigger than he is.
He is smiling all the time and gets a good belly laugh in when his brother plays with him. He has rolled over twice from his belly to his back and he is a scooter. When he does tummy time he can get his chunky legs under him and push forward - more into a face plant but he knows how to get around. When we put him down for the night we often go in to feed him and he has turned himself 180 on his back.
Jennings started rice cereal after his appointment on Wednesday and is still a little unsure of it. He is getting better with getting more down than pushed out of his mouth after a few tries. Since he has started cereal he has been sleeping 5 - 6 hour stretches at night which is AWESOME. However, I have to get up to check on him when he sleeps that long and then I can't get right back to sleep - at least someone is getting some zzzz's!
No signs of any teeth yet but I am sure they are on the way soon. Jackson got his first tooth right before he turned 7 months old so maybe Jennings will follow him.
We are loving our big boy more and more everyday. He is getting to be so much more fun and his little personality is definitely developing. He is so laid back, which Jackson was too, but he just chills out. He only gets cranky if he is hungry or tired so he is pretty darn easy!
We love you Jennings!
