How to Train Your Dragon

On Wednesday Alexis and I decided to take the kids to see their first movie in a theater and How to Train Your Dragon looked like the perfect pick! We had lunch at In N Out Burger and let the kids burn some energy before we expected them to sit in a dark theater for an hour and a half!
And they did great - there were a few other small kiddos in there and a few adults but it was 1240 pm so we didn't expect many people so if the kids acted up a little then it was ok but they sat and watched the movie like I hoped they would! And it was a really cute movie and VERY kid friendly!
But afterwards they spotted the games and that probably would've suited them just fine instead of sitting through a movie.
So to get out all the crazies from sitting partially still we went to the 'fire station' park - it's really the Rotary Park but there is a fire station right next door! We love going here a couple of times a month for a change!
Walking across this bridge makes me feel uneasy because you can see down to the ground under your feet but it obviously doesn't matter to Jackson.
Going down the big slide!
And I'm happy to report that they were both snoring in the car on the way home - the perfect ending to an afternoon out!
