Viva Las Vegas

So here we are.....back into reality from our whirlwind trip to Las Vegas. We had a blast but we're glad to get back! We stayed at the Luxor and our room was pretty nice but we were pretty bored with the actual hotel. We ended up walking a lot to the New York New York and MGM Grand to spend our time in their restaurants and slot machines;)

We walked A LOT......covered about 5 miles the first afternoon and about the same the 2nd day. We had krispy kreme for breakfast(that we can't get on the west coast), Chiptole for lunch(which we eat at all the time in Santa Barbara) and a fabulous sushi dinner after our show at the New York New York. We saw the Cirque de Solie show Zumanity and it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! It is definitely a grown up show but has a ton of humor and crowd involvement.

We tried our hand at a couple of slot machines and roulette tables. We each one $20 - mine at the 1 cent wheel of fortune machine and Jeremy at the one bet he placed to test his luck when we first got there. I won't say how much we lost - but we won't lose our house or cars or anything;-)
