Solvang

On Mom and Mema's last full day visit we headed inland to Solvang. It is a beautiful drive, winding through vineyards and horse filled ranches. If you've seen the movie Sideways, this scenic drive and countryside is where this movie was filmed. It's a pretty funny movie but not necessarily a comedy, so if you have time to watch it, I think it's worth it.

Solvang is a recreated Danish town and is mostly a tourist attraction. The population is very low and the shops are mainly gift shops and bakery's, but it's just a fun way to spend a day with visitors.
