8 months old......3 days late

There has been so much going on this past week that it has been hard to get here long enough to update. On Thursday night we went down to Gibson park where we go to the duck pond and walk with Beaufort. Now that it is summer time, Alive at 5 has started back up and they moved it here. There is a big stage and vendors out and LOTS of people. It's great for people watching;) So we went and met some friends and had a good ol'time. Jackson loved all the people and sitting on the ground playing.

Jeremy decided that it was time for Jackson to fit into his ECU baseball outfit that we recieved as a baby gift. It does fit but just a little big around the shoulders so it kind of slips off. He does look cute in it and was very excited about it!
Jackson also decided when he turned 8 months old that he would decide to stand up. We can put him next to the coffee table or couch and he will stand up but he gets tired quickly because he is using muscles he hasn't been using like this before. This is the cutest picture because he was getting so tired of standing so he started to fuss and rest his head. Doesn't he look like he just got in trouble and should be standing in the corner? I LOVE it.
I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th. This has been a great LONG weekend to have Jeremy home so we've been staying on the go and working in the house trying to clean up and clean out little by little until it's time to move. Just over a month left and then we'll be flying into NC on the 14th if all goes as planned. I can't wait to see everyone and finally have enough time to do everything we can squeeze in to almost 2 months. I'm sure we'll be tearing the highways up so watch out!
