Not a whole lot of news happening in the Gore household in the past week but I've had a couple of good sessions of picture taking, so I thought I would post some! We have been doing a lot of "tummy time" since going to the doctor last week - she advised us to do a couple of 10 minute sessions a day so he can build up those strong neck muscles and arms so he can hold himself up! So in just a week he has gone from screaming at the top of his lungs when laid on his tummy and shoving his nose in the playmat, to now he'll lay there looking to one side and then raise up his chest and heavy head to turn and look the other way. He doesn't start crying until about 5 minutes into it, but then he is done and there is NO going back! He is also learning all about his hands, putting them in his mouth and using the connection that his hand is attached to him, and he can use it to grab objects. He is swiping at his plastic toys that hang on his playmat above him and smiling when he hits them. We are also reading to him a couple times and day and he is really starting to respond to us. We think it's because he is read to and hearing all different words, but he is making a lot of noise and will get your attention if you aren't looking at him by "talking" to you!He is so sweet and cute - everybody should have one!
