Goodness....I just can not keep up with the times on this blog. Hopefully I'll get better with updating more often;)
SO we had a wonderful trip home to see all the family. We took our first red eye flight and the boys did AMAZING! Slept the entire flight from LAX to RDU! Now did mommy get any sleep - maybe 10 minutes, which made for a long 5 hour flight....esp with the screaming kid a few rows up who didn't stop until the last 30 minutes! Glad it wasn't mine!
Once home we celebrated Halloween at the beach!
Here is the family at Barefoot Landing at Myrtle Beach. We walked from shop to shop and Jackson collected quite a lot of candy and Jennings collected quite a bit of 'awwww's' and 'that's the cutest monster ever' comments. And of course........
we agree 100%!
A couple days later we celebrated a special some one's official 4th birthday with a trip to Broadway at the Beach's Wonder Works. This is the 3 story upside down house and it is pretty much awesome.
Dad and Nick rode the 360 degree bikes. If you pedal hard enough you go upside down and over for the 360 degree effect. Nick was the only one to achieve this feat!
As you can tell by Linda's face she was having none of it!
Jackson pulled his own body weight up a pulley while Nana watched in amazement.

And flew to the moon!

He decided to take his brother along too!

Another family shot - tried to get the whole house but it was massive.
We blew out some birthday candles one last time in our rental house at Sunset Beach!
And ended our trip with one last Pirate Victory! Our friend Matt and his girlfriend Katie drove up from South Carolina to join us for a COLD tailgate! Glad we could show this ex TCU football player how we pirates do it - hahaha!
So since we have been home we've settled back in and found out that we have a report no later than date August 1 to Washington DC! We are SO EXCITED to be moving back east, if it's just for a couple of years! I've got big plans for some ECU football season tickets, holidays with family, and traveling! We'll now have babysitters 4.5 hours away - YAY!
Also the boys' had their 15 month and 4 year well check up a couple days ago. Jackson is 40 lbs and 41 inches and Jennings is 30 lbs and 31.5 inches. Almost 3 years between them and only 10 pounds separate them - oh boy!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
