We've been moved in and trying to get settled for the past month with a steady stream of visitors. Jackson has continued to sleep in his converted crib - turned toddler bed so that our guests can use the bed that we had in the guest room in the old house. So now.....after everyone has gone and no one is expected to come back to visit until next year, Jackson finally has his big boy room with his very own big boy bed.
The only trouble we are having.....and are currently - at this very minute having.....is convincing him to sleep in that big boy bed at night.
* Edited to add: Last night - 9/3 - Jackson slept all night in his new bed!*
This was nap time - my favorite time of the day. And the next to go in the growing up to be a big boy phase is that paci. But just one step at a time.....slowly but surely;)
Oh....and here is our other growing big boy! He definitely has more Gore in him than Radford.
But he spends most of his free time doing this!
And even outside enjoying our summer time weather - getting some fresh air and sunshine!
In other exciting news, I have finally bitten the bullet and have been telling Jackson that he needs to go sit on the potty and at least try to go. In the past couple of days he has been going when I ask him too and has even come out to the living room with me and Jennings and told me that he went potty......and sure enough he had - and actually made it in the potty - thank goodness! Hopefully we can continue this trend!
