Back In Buisness

Jackson finally got to meet his "Rockstar" uncle this past week when Nick and Nana came out for a wonderful, but too short visit. We really didn't do too much but hang out. Me and mom shopped, of course, and Nick and Jeremy went skiing for a day. Jackson has gotten pretty attached to this little stuffed animal - we aren't sure if it is a dog or a bunny so we're calling it his "donny." He is starting to put everything that is in his hands into his mouth, which is great if it's his paci!
On Saturday we took a little road trip to check out the surrounding Montana landscape with a drive down to Ryans Dam and this is the road that you have to travel down. There is no speed limit and it hasn't been re-paved in about 30 years, so it was very bumpy. We all came out of our seats at one point, thanks in part to Jeremy's driving. Thank goodness for seat belts and a very secure car seat. Big sky country and Montana wheat fields!

I had a lot of fun taking pictures with Nick's digital SLR camera, so we had lots of photo sessions with our adorable model. Next Christmas I will have one of these cameras and hopefully will take a class or two to help further this little hobby. Thanks Uncle Nick for letting us take a couple hundred pictures!
For our biggest and latest news, Jackson rolled over for the first time on Monday! Unfortunately he probably won't ever do it again because I started screaming and jumping up and down with excitment and scared the poor little guy to death. We've been trying to do it again but no such luck, even though he really liked it once he was on his back. Also, on Tuesday night while Nana was playing with him on his changing table, his favorite spot, he laughed for the first time. I heard him all the way in the kitchen, while they were at the other end of the house. I am glad that Mom got to be here for these milestones. I think all the grandparents need to come out often, so maybe he'll achieve more big milestones, and then before we know it he'll be potty trained - ha ha!

Well that is all from us this week. No big plans but the weather is turning warm outside. It's finally getting up into the 40's and lower 50's so we've been getting outside and taking walks around the neighborhood. Its probably pretty entertaining to watch me push a baby in a stroller and trying to walk an 80 pound dog. Bo is learning pretty fast to not get in front of the stroller because his heels have been clipped a couple of times. Its great to get some fresh air and warm sunshine! Have a great week and weekend!
